Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you create an account via Google or Apple Sign In, we receive your name and email address from the provider. We do not receive or store your password from any provider.
We collect workout data you enter into the app, including exercises, weights, sets, reps, and body weight logs.
If you start a Pro trial or purchase a Pro subscription, we receive a transaction record from the platform store (Apple App Store or Google Play). The transaction record includes the product purchased, the purchase / renewal / expiration timestamps, and a stable transaction identifier. We do not receive or store your payment-card number, billing address, or any other payment-method information — that data stays with Apple or Google.
1a. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Overload Pro is a recurring subscription billed by Apple or Google. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price displayed at purchase, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings (iOS) or Google Play Subscriptions (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We use RevenueCat as a sub-processor to receive purchase notifications from the stores; RevenueCat receives the same transaction data described above and never receives payment-method information.
The 14-day Pro trial that begins automatically at signup is granted by us, not by Apple or Google, and does not require a payment method. When the trial ends, your account converts to the free tier unless you have purchased a subscription.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to provide the Overload service: tracking workouts, calculating progression, and displaying your history. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform servers. Workout data is associated with your account and is not accessible to other users.
4. Push Notifications
If you opt in to push notifications, we store a device token to deliver notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time from the app settings.
5. Data Export and Deletion
You can export your workout data and delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Account deletion is immediate and permanently removes your workouts, logs, schedules, custom exercises, body-weight entries, equipment list, and any push-notification subscriptions. If you cannot access the app, email us at the address in section 9 to request deletion; we will complete it within 30 days. See our account-deletion guide for the full list of what is removed.
6. Third-Party Services
We use OAuth providers (Google, Apple) for authentication only. We do not share your workout data with these providers.
7. Children's Privacy
Overload is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
